I don’t often post personal photos on the website, in fact this is just the 2nd time. We’ll see if the tradition continues, I’m not exactly certain if it’s appropriate or if there’s any interest, but… I’ll give it a go.

So we decided to try go to Dave’s pumpkin patch the last weekend in September, mostly because I’m booked shooting weddings literally every weekend in October (woo hoo!) and it was time for her 5 month photos. Well, needless to say it was an awesome idea, except for the fact that it was still 90+ degrees in Sacramento and Dave’s wasn’t exactly 100% setup. Aside from those things, we had a fun filled day, we did a little shopping, checked out the hay maze, and laughed as Ella saw various farm animals for the first time. The photo situation was less then idea, I didn’t have Kevin around to help with lighting and it was literally done at noon in terrible harsh sunlight – but we made it happen.
