CIM Group – Top of the Park Event

The CIM group hosted a fabulous special event to celebrate an exciting new commercial property in downtown Sacramento. This event was to showcase the penthouse of the Park Tower. Music for this event was provided by Midtown Jazz.

Sacramento Downtown Plaza – JMA Ventures

JMA Ventures recently purchased the Sacramento Downtown Plaza and contacted me to update their portfolio with some recent photographs. For obvious reasons I was particularly anxious to participate in this project, not only because it’s very close to my home in East Sacramento – but I shop here quite often. After learning more about JMA’s plan to transform and revitalize the Plaza into a downtown destination.

If you’ve been following the blog, you’ll remember this couple from our fun Santa Cruz engagement session. After spending some time with them in Capitola and Santa Cruz I knew their wedding would be special and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Allison & Sterling’s Chico Engagement Session

Allison & Sterling met while attending Chico State university. Although they’ve since graduated and moved away from Chico, it only made sense to have their engagement photos taken around the campus. These photos were mostly done at Upper and Lower Bidwell Park and on the campus of CSU Chico.

Emily & Jed – Engagement Session in Suisun City

Fun fun! It’s not often I get to pack in so many different styles and scenes into a single engagement session. Emily & Jed are both incredibly artistic and creative, not to mention they both love photography so the pressure was on to *not* disappoint! Because of some schedule challenges, we ended up shooting this entire session in the early afternoon which I try and avoid at all costs. Not only was it a pretty hot day but the lighting conditions weren’t favorable, I think we made it work in the end. Enjoy!
