Sneak peak photos from Kate and Brandon’s engagement session in Chico. This location was chosen because Kate and Brandon met while attending Chico State University. We were quite fortunate that everything was in bloom early, so we had a nice sunset session in the Almond orchards.

Nicole & Ilya’s Greek Wedding at St Basil and Berghold Winery

The instant I finished Nicole and Ilya’s engagement session I knew their wedding was going to be something special. Sometimes there is just an instant chemistry and level of comfort with a couple, I’m really glad to have made good friends with them both. As you can see from the photos (and video), absolutely everything about the day was perfect. The guests were clearly having a great time, the weather was absolutely perfect, and the venues at both St Basil’s and Berghold winery were decorated beautifully. The interesting thing for me was this was the first Greek wedding I’ve ever photographed (and ever attended truth be told!). Their traditions and particluary Greek dancing were lots of fun.

Be very jealous. Not only do Stephanie and Adam have a cool vanity wedding date of 9-10-11, but they also got married in Maui. It was definitely a privilege and a great experience to travel with them from Sacramento to shoot their wedding. The wedding took place on the Wailea side of Maui at Makena beach.
